We are so excited to have the honor of assisting our sweet neighbor, Sarah, with some of her wedding décor! We can’t wait to help this fun-loving girl bring her vision to reality on the groom’s family ranch this summer. Sarah is a cowgirl and a fitness fanatic, so you’d think she would be a tomboy, but she’s super feminine and has a beautiful, effortless style.
Let’s face it, she’s drop-dead gorgeous. Aren’t they adorable together?
Like Sarah, the wedding decorations will be feminine, natural and gorgeous, with a down-to-earth, country vibe. And, as a farm girl and past Pendleton Round-Up Princess, she’ll also incorporate western elements like cowboy boots, barn wood signs, old galvanized steel buckets, jute twine, and (of course) burlap.
Using Sarah’s Pinterest boards, we created a mood board to help guide our ideas going forward. Romantic, rustic and sweet are all words we would use to describe Sarah’s vision for her big day.
In the months to come we’ll be blogging about our ideas, projects and décor sources. We’re huge fans of Style Me Pretty for their real-world examples with breathtaking photography. I’ve been pouring through their galleries for ideas, and have seen some fun trends (that also spill over into home décor) such as:
Mismatched colored glassware and floral prints:
Funky, informal hand-painted signs:
Painted furniture displayed outdoors:
And gorgeous fresh produce in tablescapes:
Isn’t it fun to see what people come up with? Tell us – what are some of your favorite wedding trends?!
