First things first, we have ourselves a winner of the Blotterazzi (which is on back order all over the place, btw). Congratulations Stanisha Stroman! Email me your address and I’ll get her out to you on the double.
Jenny & I are slowly recovering from the Junk Barn Girls sale last weekend. Here’s a few shots of our booth. We’re pleased as punch that we completely sold out of furniture and only have a few smalls left.
We’ve been planning to go to Junk Bonanza for MONTHS now. MONTHS. We’ve got two early entrance tickets to paradise and I’ll tell you where we’ll be running (literally) first.
Uber Chic….obviously. If you’ve not heard of them here’s the only information you need to know: handsome, friendly, humble, European antiques. I’ve got a little crush on these guys. Plus they’re giving away an ottoman to the first person who arrives at their booth, shakes Chris’s hand and yells shama-lama-ding-dong. My sister, Jenny, won this foot race at Farm Chicks in June. It was one of the most entertaining days of my entire life. I bought a nine drawer iron frame/reclaimed crate buffet and it pretty much lights up my life on the daily.
I’m also excited to see what Junk Drunk brings. They were at Junk Barn Girls and Farm Chicks and had the coolest vibe going. I’m wearing one of their tshirts with a flannel over top as I type.
I’ve never been to Camp Hollyhock but it’s been on my agenda for a good long while. I can’t wait to check out their one of a kind children’s clothing from gorgeously recycled materials and the leather napkin rings I saw on Instagram.
Another Portland based vendor I’ve always wanted to shop is Fabius Grange. They’ve been teasing us on Instagram with sweet vintage paintings (a weakness of mine) and vintage street signs.
If you live anywhere close to the Portland/Vancouver area you should definitely make the pilgrimage to Junk Bonanza. Shows of this magnitude are few & far between. The displays alone are worth the price of admission, promise. Early bird tickets are still available for $25 ($30 at the door) otherwise it’s $10. Get all the information you need here: Junk Bonanza
Let us know if you’re going and who you’re excited to see!
