I am on TOP of the world right now! I just recieved two g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s premium art prints from Minted. I mean, we all know that Minted has top of the line holiday cards and party invites. But did you know they’ve got a vast marketplace of signed, limited edition prints by independent artists across the country and beyond???? I feel like I’ve got this huge secret to shout from the dang rooftops!
It took me about four days of constant screen time to narrow down my choices. I knew I wanted artwork that was meaningful to our family, unique, and possibly even modern.
One of the very first prints that caught my eye was “Dark Florals no. 1” by Alethea and Ruth. It’s stunning and simple and would have fit in perfectly with everything in my house. But…I was craving something unexpected so I moved on.
Then I happened upon this beauty by Josh McClendon. Abstract art is certainly out of my comfort zone (bonus) and the title “Intertwined” and occasional messy paint strokes made me think of my crazy, perfect family. I chose to have it signed and framed in a very traditional, french farmhouse style wooden frame. I absolutely can’t stop looking at it, no joke.
Right now it’s on my mantle propped against a huge photo of my four kids. But it’s such a perfect size, so neutral and versatile it could be used in any room in my home.
I love using pops of green and blue in my home so I was immediately drawn to “Indigold” by Stephanie Ryan. Florals, however, are abundant around here so I kept on searching.
And then I saw “Rural Midwest” by Robin Ott Design. Ohhhhh mama…. THIS is it. A single barn in the middle of nowhere. That’s how it feels where we live. No neighbors, just us.
The vibrant colors are so beautiful to me. And it even has a bit of my go-to colors in the middle. I chose to have it signed (of course) and framed in actual reclaimed barn wood from the United States.
My photography skills don’t come close to doing this piece justice. It’s stunning and unique.
Nine days after I placed my order the prints were delivered to my door. They came ready to hang with information about each artist and certificates of authenticity. If you’re looking for artwork, big/small, framed/unframed, signed/unsigned, Minted is the first place you should look.
