Well…this was supposed to be part of the One Room Challenge but we, ok I, didn’t get it done on time. Actually, we got the room make-over done, but the business of photographing and blogging about it was a different story. You’d be suprised how long that actually takes. Anyway, the awesome news is that Jenny has a newly redecorated dining room that is totally her!
And even though I took 117 pictures, I struggled to get clean, bright shots of this room. Sometimes that happens to shotty photogs like me…
Jenny’s collection of goodies on her open shelving is adorable and meaningful: an elk shed from my parent’s old mountain ground, a piece of “art” my son made, favorite prints and cookbooks. Plus there’s just some super cool junk.
Her new light fixture came just in time from Parrot Uncle, an online lighting company with great deals on popular styles. The basket weave is perfect with the eclectic vintage style of this room.
And is that modern wood art not the coolest?! It’s from Roaming Roots Woodwork on Etsy. I’m kind of dying for one of my own now.
Next thing I knew, I’d swiped the Pendleton blanket out of her living room and put it on the table. The colors are SO right! The wine, the Pioneer Woman bowls, a cream Le Crueset Dutch oven. Let’s get this party started.
